Systems using Sprinkler Fire Safe are assured flow protection of -15 º F and burst protection of -60º F. As requied by NFPA, Sprinkler Safe is ready to use and should not be diluted. Check freezing protection each season using a hydrometer to test the specific gravity. Check the specific gravity after installation and then again at the end of the season. If the specific gravity is less than the number at time of installation, meaning weakened, then empty system and replace with New Sprinkler Safe.
